Cristian Rivero announces the return of ‘La Voz Perú’ and assures that he is not afraid to compete with ‘Al fondo hay lugar’ |IMP | SHOWS

The host Cristian Rivero commented that he was excited regarding the premiere of ‘La Voz Perú 2022’, which returns to television on July 4 on the screens of Latina and in prime time, in addition, he stressed that he is not worried regarding competing with ‘Al fondo there is room’ because he applauds the fact that more and more national productions are being made.

“We premiered the program on the 4th of July. The expectations are always going to be the best, ‘La voz Perú’ is a very nice program, it showcases a lot of talent, singers who are starting their careers and who need a showcase to expose themselves. It is a program that brings everyone together, so that comforts us and makes everyone happy,” said Rivero.

It might be said that Latina is the only channel that showcases new talent…

Several years ago, the channel began betting on talent programs such as: ‘La voz’, ‘Yo soy’, ‘Perú tú tú Talenta’, at the time ‘El Última Passenger’ and it has followed that route. We have already developed a brand as a channel, to be the channel for Peruvian talent and to provide a showcase for standing citizens, who need a platform to display their talent.

The program does promise this new season, especially since it will have some luxury ‘coaches’, such as: Eva Ayllón, Daniela Darcourt, Christian Yaipén and Noel Schajris…

The coaches are incredible, I like it a lot and they will even have to make holes in their schedules to be with us on the program. We love that they give it priority, that they are so involved and involved with the format.

It is not easy for a program to remain current over the years, such as ‘La Voz Perú’…

No, especially given how times are right now. Consumption has varied so much, so we are grateful that people continue to support us and that it continues to work commercially. In addition, that the brands believe in the product and concept of the program. It is not common to sustain a program for so many years, especially like ‘La Voz Perú’, which is a very expensive format. I thought that we were not going to do it once more, so it is very pleasing and I am very excited that we return to the screens.

I understand that they will go on prime time and possibly compete with ‘In the background there is a place’, a series that has returned to the screens following years and is breaking it in rating… How do you see the competition?

Prime time is always a competitive schedule. The Peruvian media is so small, so to see that the channels are making local production, that they are working and that the companies are betting… that is a good sign of the market and I am very happy. The medium is so small that we all rotate and get to know each other. It’s good that my colleagues are doing fiction, that they can have work, finally… the public is the one that ends up winning. On the one hand, we offer fiction, on the other a reality program, there are several offers and that is good because it is a local production. Competitiveness or the fact of being competitive is not necessarily beating the other. The issue of being competitive is to bring out national and local products that are of interest to advertisers. People will be more hooked with one than with others, but the important thing is that things are being done. Our competence as professionals is to be competent and make a good program, whether it is fiction or reality. All of us who are on television want the fence on television to rise and we can make local productions so that they are sold internationally, such as formats such as: ‘La voz Perú’, which is a world format that is made in Peru and that speaks very well of the professionals who are involved in the field. Competition is being competent with what you do, regardless of the channel and product you have.
