Cristian Borja arrives in Mexico City to finalize his link with the Eagles

Christian Borja, a Colombian left-back, arrived in Mexico City early Tuesday to sign his contract with América. The 31-year-old player, who previously played for Toluca in Liga MX, arrived in the Mexican capital without making any statements. He will finalize details before signing a contract with the current two-time champions.

Similar to Rodrigo Aguirre, Borja will undergo the necessary medical examinations in Coapa before completing negotiations. Borja, a free agent, will sign a three-year contract with the Coapa-based team.

With his arrival, André Jardine will have another option to compete on the left wing, alongside Christian ‘Chicote’ Calderón. However, the player will not be available for the Matchday 3 Apertura 2024 fixture once morest Tigres at the Estadio Universitario.
