Crises in Gaza: Latest Updates, International Protests, and Humanitarian Aid

GAZA CITY ∙ After 12 days of conflict, the suffering of more than 2 million Palestinians living in the besieged Gaza without electricity, water or food has not eased. Although Israel has given permission to bring emergency aid, it is not clear whether it will happen. Yesterday, Israel carried out continuous airstrikes in various areas of the Gaza Strip, including southern Gaza, which was declared a safe zone.

12 people were killed in an airstrike on a residential complex in Khan Yunis; 40 people were injured. Following US President Joe Biden, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak arrived in Tel Aviv in support of Israel.

Israel allowed 12 trucks from Egypt to enter Gaza with emergency aid including food and medicine. 27 tons of Russia’s aid is also provided through Egypt.

∙ According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, 3478 Palestinians have been killed so far in Israeli attacks. 12,000 people were injured. At least 1300 people are trapped under the debris.
