A group of criminals tried to steal an armored truck that was transporting technological objects on Wednesday night in the Metropolitan region, which was repelled by the rapid action of Carabineros, who frustrated the crime.
The incident occurred around 9:00 p.m. Route 68 towards Santiago in the Teniente Cruz sector of the Pudahuel communewhen an unknown group of criminals, carrying firearms, tried to rob a truck.
The criminals used the oxycut method to steal what the machine was transporting, but Carabineros quickly arrived at the scene, so the criminals fled the scene.
From the police institution they indicated that the criminals acted very violently, and explained that by using the Oxycut method and not finishing the crime, the truck caught fire in the place, so they had to ask the Fire Department for help to control the emergency.
