Martin Santiago del Rio, the youngest son of the couple murdered in Vicente López who was arrested this Wednesday by the double parricide, had a lover. This woman was the one he pointed it out on the security camera videos where he is seen leaving his parents’ house on the day of the crime.
Sources related to the investigation revealed that the woman, identified as Paola, wanted to commit suicide this Thursday after testifying in the case.

It is believed that del Río would have used part of the money he took from his parents to use with his lover. The expenses allocated to Paola include cosmetic surgeries and other luxuries.
According to what they indicated, the woman and Del Río had worked together in a real estate company. In the videos of the security cameras, he is seen leaving with a bag from this company rental and sale of real estate.
The sources of the investigation indicated that when showing the videos to Paola immediately identified del Río as the person leaving the couple’s house on the day and time the crime was committed.

This Thursday afternoon, Paola told her daughter to go to a pharmacy to buy Alplax, but since she didn’t have a prescription, they didn’t sell it to her. So, she ingested some pills that she had in her Vicente López house, but before left a letter where she said she was “traumatized” for what happened to del Río and the raid she suffered this Wednesday night at her home for the case.
In that note she also stated that she had nothing to do with the double parricide and that she did not know that she was in a relationship with “a psychopath”.
Seeing how her mother was, the daughter called the police who went to the scene along with medical personnel. The spokesmen pointed to Telam that the woman never lost consciousness and that she was “out of control and with low blood pressure”, for which she was transferred to the Vicente López Hospital to also evaluate her mental health. At the same time, Paola herself told the police that she just wanted to “sleep.”
What happened is being investigated by prosecutor Alejandro Guevara, who, if he determines that there is any danger, will intervene in the Family Court for a personal protection measure.

Martín del Río was arrested on Wednesday night when he entered lot 27 of the private neighborhood Barrancadas del Lago located in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Nordelta. The arrest came just hours after she was released. María Ninfa Aquino, the maid of the murdered couple, She was the only one arrested in the case.
