Cricket Controversy: Saeed Ajmal’s Allegations on R Ashwin and ICC’s Bias

Islamabad: Saeed Ajmal was a wonderful talent in Pakistan cricket. Debut in 2008 at the age of thirty. He took 178 wickets in 35 Tests, 184 in 113 ODIs and 85 in 63 Twenty20s. Ajmal’s cricket career ended in the year 2014, when he progressed with wickets at a fast pace. The ICC bans the bowling action as illegal. Ajmal retired the following year.

Now Ajmal has come up once morest players including Indian spinner R Ashwin. Ajmal alleged that the action of several bowlers including R Ashwin was illegal. Ajmal also said that if he had played in India, he would have taken a thousand wickets. Ajmal’s words… “ICC discriminated only once morest him. The action of twenty five bowlers including R Ashwin is illegal. Muttiah Muralidharan, R Ashwin and Harbhajan Singh would not have been able to bowl if the law that banned him was enforced. He had the same bowling action since the start of the game. “After taking 447 wickets, the ICC banned him for other purposes,” Ajmal said.

Saeed Ajmal also said that he was the ICC’s number one bowler when he was banned. Ajmal also claims that if he had played for India, which has taken more than 100 wickets every year, he would have taken 1,000 wickets in international cricket.
