Crete: A Palestinian stabbed a 32-year-old man – He is hospitalized in critical condition

Critical hours for a 32-year-old man in Heraklion, Crete, after a knife attack by a Palestinian on Monday night (23.09.2024).

The knife attack took place in Gazi, Heraklion, when a 26-year-old Palestinian, together with his 31-year-old compatriot, went to the house of three men and argued with each other.

One of the two Palestinians took out a knife and started furiously beating the one Cretan.

The 32-year-old was taken to the hospital in a critical condition and after undergoing surgery, he was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit of the Venizeli Hospital where he is still being treated, according to Creta24.

The 26-year-old Palestinian was arrested by the authorities but the 31-year-old is still wanted.

After the police investigation, it turned out that the two Palestinians had been arrested at noon the previous day for disturbing the peace and had been released just a few hours before the knife attack.
