An incredible alalum and an adventure that will take a long time to forget was experienced by a citizen of Heraklion as he was forgotten and locked up for more than an hour inside a public office!

As reported by cretalive.gr, the unimaginable incident happened today (16/7) at noon in Yofyros where Decentralized Administration services are located. When the end of the hour arrived, the employees learned and, as was normal, they closed and locked the doors without realizing that, for unknown reasons, a citizen who had been in the area was still on duty.

Imagine the citizen’s surprise when he found out what had happened and started shouting but no one heard him. In his desperation when he saw and realized there was no one else in the building he called the police to come and unlock him

The policemen searched for the service and following finding the employee who had the keys they notified him, who regarding an hour following…locking went to the office and unlocked…freeing the citizen who didn’t believe he was in this adventure!
