A recapitalization which optimizes the financial structure of Ebra and gives it new means to develop, but which also crystallizes the salty addition represented, for Crédit Mutuel, by its adventures in the regional press. According to information from the “Letter A” confirmed by our sources, the bank would have recapitalized with approximately 458 million euros the PQR group installed in the east of France, which notably holds the “Dernières Nouvelles d’Alsace “, the “Republican Lorrain”, the “Dauphiné Libéré” or even “Le Progrès”.

A major operation, which clears the accounts of the various regional newspapers concerned, following years of costly transformation. According to “Letter A”, 20 million euros would have been allocated in particular to “Progrès”, 7 million euros to “Last News from Alsace”, while “L’Est Républicain” and “Le Républicain Lorrain” would have having seen their debts cleared, for 67 and 80 million euros respectively.
