Qualified specialists will be educated starting from kindergarten

The authorities of the Russian Federation are solving the issue of increasing the number of qualified specialists. To this end, educational complexes are being created in the country that combine all stages of children’s education, from kindergarten to preparation for entering a university. This is how experts interpret URA.RU the results of the visit of the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin on September 1 to school No. 1579. Such projects will allow introducing a career-oriented approach from childhood, which will help produce high-quality personnel in the future, analysts say.

During his visit to the educational complex School No. 1579, the head of government congratulated schoolchildren on the start of the new academic year. “This is an important holiday for all of us. Filled with the brightest feelings, it will be remembered for many years,” Mishustin said. The Prime Minister explained that the government is making efforts to improve the efficiency of education.

“At all times, it is education that has been a reliable foundation on which the well-being and prosperity of the country is built. The government pays great attention to this area, doing everything necessary to ensure that the younger generation can acquire versatile knowledge, realize their abilities and talents, and find a calling in life,” Mikhail Mishustin emphasized.

Mishustin praised the quality of the new school and the opportunities it provides for children. “We looked at your school – it’s amazing. We also had good schools at one time, but what we see today is a media library, these are clubs, this is a wonderful canteen, this is an opportunity for children to play sports. Everything that is needed for a child is here, ”said the head of government.

School No. 1579 consists of 11 buildings: five school buildings and six pre-school education buildings. The school provides universal and specialized classrooms, engineering, laboratory and research complexes, a media library, an IT test site, technology rooms for boys and girls, a chess club and two gyms. The needs of children with disabilities are taken into account.

With one of them, the student immediately coped, for which the head of government praised him. “Well done, five!” Mishustin said. Leaving the classroom, the Prime Minister wished the children good luck and advised them to study mathematics: “This is the best subject.” Mikhail Mishustin also visited the gym, where he played table tennis with a school student. “Well done, you play great!” — praised the head of government of the student.

In addition to visiting the school, on September 1, Mishustin recorded a video message on the occasion of the opening in Irkutsk of the first Suvorov military school in the Siberian Federal District. “Over these decades, thanks to the unique training and practical skills, the graduates of the school have become the elite of the country’s Armed Forces. Among them are prominent military leaders, statesmen and public figures, Heroes of the Soviet Union, Heroes of the Russian Federation,” the head of government said.

Lack of specialists

There is an acute shortage of specialists in the Russian labor market in 2023. The real sector of the economy suffers the most. According to the monitoring of enterprises conducted by the Central Bank, since the beginning of the year, the industry has the lowest staffing over the past 25 years. All this led to record low unemployment (3.2% in May, according to Rosstat). This situation is forcing companies to raise wages, which, in the face of a shortage of workers and slow growth in labor productivity, leads to an acceleration of inflation, according to the Central Bank’s bulletin “What Trends Say”.

Solving personnel problems

The authorities are creating educational complexes in order to increase the number of qualified personnel in the country with their help, said Dmitry Solonnikov, director of the Institute of Modern State Development. “A person must carry education throughout his life.

First, kindergarten, preschool, then school, specialty, then preparation for entering a university or special vocational education. And all this in a single connection. From the point of view of modern theory, it is believed that this system effectively educates personnel. In practice, it will be evaluated in a couple of decades following the educational complexes have started working.

People must pass them, start working, then we will be able to evaluate the effectiveness,” the expert explained.

Maxim Pratusevich, a member of the federal group of developers of the Unified State Examination in mathematics, director and teacher of the Presidential Physics and Mathematics Lyceum No. 239, agrees that studying in large educational complexes will make it possible to obtain better specialists. “The creation of educational complexes is connected with the concentration of resources. When there is a large budget, you can form, for example, engineering classes or a laboratory. In addition, there is a big parallel, for example – eight classes, they can be divided into interest groups. These groups will not be one person each, but 15 each. The creation of interest classes can definitely affect the production of better personnel in the future, ”says the agency’s interlocutor.

According to Alena Arshinova, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education, the main goal of the project is the creation of a single educational space, as well as the continuity of preschool and school education. “Starting to attend both kindergarten and school, the child goes through adaptation. A unified educational complex softens it, creates comfortable conditions for the transition from preschool to school education for the child: children know the school, they are accustomed to teachers. This is also convenient for teachers: they know in advance who will come to them, what methods to choose and prepare children for school in conjunction with educators. It is also convenient for parents, they also know the teachers and the conditions of education, ”summed up Arshinova.
