They are young professionals with clear ideas. “I attach importance to working in a company where I feel cared for, where my opinion is taken into account. We do not have two lives, and the ideal is to enjoy it to the fullest and achieve that in your company,” says Alba Guerrero, Head of Wellbeing at BBVA.
“Generation Z is looking for a company in which they feel that they are doing good for society, that they can be fulfilled and that their work has an impact. They don’t want to do just anything,” says Inma Català, global head of Culture and Commitment at BBVA.
They are looking for much more than a payroll: they demand an emotional salary and “to have autonomy in what they do (…) That they can have their time and disconnection. That they can be themselves,” says Catalá.
They want inclusive companies with purposes, as explained by Carlos Iglesias, CEO of Runroom: “They are looking for a friendly environment that accompanies and empowers them. They flee from toxicity and seek to establish relationships of learning and genuine friendship in an inclusive and diverse environment.”
