On January 21, the Police Department of Ngoc Hoi District (Kon Tum Province) said that they had just prosecuted the case, prosecuted the accused and ordered the arrest and detention of Ha Van Hoa (38 years old, residing in the village). According to Ngoc Hoi District Police, Ha Van Hoa created a cover for herself as a gentle, simple builder, doing honest business. At around 10pm on January 12, a working group consisting of Ngoc Hoi District Police and Bo Y International Border Gate Border Guard Station (Kon Tum Province Border Guard) conducted an inspection of Hoa’s house, then discovered and confiscated 1 pack of methamphetamine (Methamphetamine), regarding 1kg in weight, hidden at the bottom of the rice barrel.
Hoa claimed to have received a package of drugs hired by the transporter from Dak Hoong stream area, Po Y commune to Plei Kan town to get wages, but was discovered and arrested by the functional forces.

The case was then transferred by the Ngoc Hoi District Police to Division PC04 – Kon Tum Provincial Police to investigate according to its competence.
