The much talked regarding Galaxy A54 was launched in March of this year, not long ago. Its processor is an Exynos 1380 with 8 GB of RAM. to supply it and a battery of 5000 mAh capacity. This little guy’s screen is not far behind in terms of quality, using a Super AMOLED panel, 6.4 “in physical size, FullHD resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
If you were excited regarding the A54’s configurations, I’m going to slap reality in your face now because, as this darling was released a little while ago, its price is quite high by market standards: R$2,900.00 is the amount you will have to pay if you want to take the Galaxy A54 home.
The competitor of the Galaxy A54 in our tests today will be its past version, the Galaxy A53. The performance of this device was so iconically disastrous that it created an important milestone in the history of our channel: The smartphone that failed to run Free Fire well. Criticism aside, comparing the A54 with its predecessor is very important for us to analyze the improvement of the 2022 Exynos 1280 with the 2023 Exynos 1380.
And since we’re talking regarding two mid-range smartphones, all of today’s games were played on the medium or standard graphics quality, to make everything fair and balanced, okay? Go for the tests.
Galaxy A54 test in heavy games
CarX Street
Incredibly, the Galaxy A54 was one of the devices that best ran CarX Street. With all graphics on medium, full of fluff, the game ran smoothly and without any problems that significantly worsened the experience.
The A54 rocked with an average of 27 FPS, at 90% stability.
The A53 was never tested in that game, so it’s ⚠️The village Wheels⚠️ only for Galaxy A54.
COD Mobile
I confess that I was a little disappointed with the performance of the A54, but it’s my fault for having kept my expectations too high. Unfortunately, the cell phone does not release the option of 60 FPS in medium graphic quality, only in low quality, which is quite normal for a device of this category.
Anyway, the A54 still did very well with its 40 frames average, at a stability of 99%.
The A53 was very close in this round, scoring an average of 37 frames, with 98% stability on COD Mobile.
⚠️The village Wheels⚠️ for both.
Diablo Immortal
If you’re a regular viewer here on the channel, you’ll know that we’ve already tested Diablo Immortal many times and most of them the game ran with a half-assed performance of just 30 FPS. What surprises this time is that the Galaxy A54, a mid-range device, launched recently, which has an EXYNOS processor, managed to run this game at 60 FPS, without crashing once. I leave here my congratulations to Samsung for the tricks they did with Blizzard to run the game that way, it’s really impressive when a “common” cell phone leaves the curve and takes a different path from the others.
The A54 scored 59 FPS on average, with a smooth stability of 100%.
✔️The village Flat Wheel✔️ for Galaxy A54 in Diablo Immortal.
eFootball
During our traditional eFootball match, everything went smoothly, without any problems and with an exceptional performance. The Galaxy A54 didn’t make any miracle of running the game with 120 FPS, however, it also didn’t perform below average with a measly 30 FPS.
The result was 60 frames, with a spiked stability of 100% on the lower graphics.
✔️The village Flat Wheel✔️ the Galaxy A54 is from eFootball.
Fortnite
Just as we said earlier that Samsung must have some trickery with Blizzard, we say the same for Epic Games. It is already a known fact that Fortnite Mobile runs at a much higher performance on Samsung smartphones, but this time the performance boost went beyond the ordinary, check it out.
With graphics on medium and 3D resolution at 100%, the Galaxy A54 scored the average of 54 frames, with a minimum of 40absurdly soft.
The Galaxy A53 also did not do badly in Fortnite, scoring an average of 30 FPS, with a minimum of 20 FPS. Has Samsung finally learned how to masterfully craft its Exynos processors? Because this performance is hard to believe when we take into account that the tested devices are intermediate.
Anyway, ✔️The village Flat Wheel✔️ for the Galaxy A54.
Free Fire
This comparison is funny because, while the Galaxy A54 performed with everything in line, the A53, I don’t know if you remember, took the Selo Não Roda no Frifas, embarrassing at least three generations of smartphones at the same time.
But, stopping the jokes for a while, he got regular results, scoring an average of 60 FPS, with 100% stability.
Meanwhile, the one who left something to be desired was the Galaxy A53, which scored only 29 FPS, with 100% stability.

Genshin Impact
You know how difficult it is to run Genshin Impact masterfully, don’t you? Despite having sent it on in several other games on the list, at this stage the A54 was quite disappointing in terms of performance.
The average number of frames obtained during a game with the graphics on medium was 27, with stability scoring 67%. The performance was certainly better than the competitor’s, but it was still not enough to make us satisfied, let’s be clear.
The Galaxy A53 scored regarding half of what the A54 scored. His average was 13 FPS, with a stability of 80%.
❌No Wheel Seal❌ for both smartphones.
Mortal Kombat
With an impressive turnaround, who got the best of this round of Mortal Kombat tests was the Galaxy A53, look how interesting.
The Galaxy A54 marked its simple 82 FPS, with a stability of 99%nothing wrong so far.
But the A53 exceeded our expectations in this game, scoring an average of 97 FPS, with a slightly lower stability of 96%
The two did very well, however, the one who got the better of it was the Galaxy A53. Stamp ????Competitive Wheel ???? for both.
PUBG
Usually when we use GFX Tools, that little program that releases graphics and FPS in PUBG, the frame rate inside the game becomes unstable following 60. The Galaxy A54, however, managed to withstand these effects well and provide a stable game, without many framerate variations.
It’s true that the FPS didn’t reach that limit of 90, but playing with 83 average frames and a stability of 96% it’s more than great.
The bad guy was the A53, which scored a measly 29 average frames, with 100% stability. We didn’t use GFX Tools in his test, but this proves to us that to play PUBG with average graphics on the Galaxy A53, it is necessary to download it. Otherwise you will suffer from lack of fluidity and locks.
????The village Competitive Wheel ???? for the A54.
Tower of Fantasy
I’ve seen worse performances and I’ve also seen better than this one from the A54. The amount of frames is average, but nothing in this performance surprises beyond what it should.
With 66 FPS and a stability of 84%the device takes the title of best cell phone to play Tower of Fantasy, but I would still lower the graphics a little more to end the crashes, the stutterings and the lack of instability that we noticed in the footage.
Finishing with a golden key, ????The village Competitive Wheel ???? para o Galaxy A54 no Tower of Fantasy.
Temperature
As in the previous season, we played COD Mobile for an hour with all the graphics at maximum, so that we would know how much battery was lost in that period, as well as the temperature of the device’s screen. After that one hour of gaming, the Galaxy A54 warmed up ????18°C???? on its surface and lost ????15%???? of load.
We are so used to Snapdragon processors consuming only 7.8% of charge in an hour of gameplay that we end up forgetting how other brands tend to burn a little more battery than usual. The temperature variation of the A54 was a worrying point, since on hotter days it can reach very high numberscausing lag and discomfort in your fingers during gameplay.
Conclusion
What was once considered by us to be a DARK performance has now become one of the best intermediates we’ve tested. The Galaxy A54 lacks practically nothing when it comes to performancerunning the vast majority of games well with graphics on medium.
Genshin Impact was one of the games that didn’t run on the desired graphics, but we did tests on the minimum quality as well and it ran smoothly, at regarding 45 FPS. That is, even if you don’t run one of your favorite games at maximum or medium quality, it’s always possible to lower the graphics, because then it’s almost certain that they will work correctly.
One of the negative points we noticed during the test is the amount of heat that this device generates during gameplay. Also in Genshin, during one of the games, the surface temperature of the screen reached an incredible 44°C, a very high value and uncomfortable for your fingers.
With the end of our review, we award the Samsung Galaxy A54 the ✔️Flat Wheel Seal ✔️, as it completely dented in our tests. Currently, it occupies the very first place in our mid-range cell phone performance ranking.
