crafty burglars steal $500,000 worth of products

The criminals have developed a particularly effective scheme to break into the store without triggering the alarm.

Their plan unfolded as they had imagined. A few days ago in Washington State (United States), burglars robbed an Apple store located in a shopping center in the city of Lynnwood, using a rather original and devilishly effective method.

A hole in the wall overlooking the back of the Apple Store

As the story goes Fox News, the criminals have indeed circumvented the security device of the targeted store… passing through the wall of a neighboring business. After breaking into this store selling espresso machines in the middle of the night, the criminals drilled a hole in the wall adjacent to the Apple store. They were then able to help themselves quietly from the stock of high-tech products, before setting off once more by the same route as on the outward journey.

“They broke into our front door, which was locked,” the espresso machine store manager said, as quoted by Fox News. editor’s note) in the wall to access what appears to be the back office of the Apple Store. I’m surprised they passed by our house to access the Apple Store. I had no idea that we were so close or so adjacent to this shop.”

436 iPhones taken away by burglars

If this burglary caused damage estimated at 2000 dollars for the espresso machine shop, the addition is obviously much higher for the Apple Store which was the target of the thieves. “At least 436 iPhones were stolen from the back room,” said Maren McKay of the Lynnwood Police Department. iPads or connected watches.”

To make matters worse, the criminals, particularly well organized, apparently took care not to leave any clues behind them. “For the moment, no fingerprints have been found and the individuals entered the mall in masks, indicates Maren McKay. No arrests have been made at this stage, but our investigators are currently studying all information and all available tracks.”
