The administration of capital Islamabad has sealed Pakhtunkhwa House on Monday for ‘violation’ of construction rules.

Capital Development Authority (CDA) Director Public Relations Shahid Kayani told Independent Urdu on Monday that ‘Pakhtunkhawa House has been sealed for violation of construction rules.’

Shahid Kayani says that notices have been sent to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government several times in this regard, but they have not been acted upon.

He said that the lease of Pakhtunkhwa House has also expired and this lease expired in 2006, but today’s action has been taken due to violation of construction laws.

CDA officer Sardar Asif, who took action to seal the Pakhtunkhwa House, told Independent Urdu that he is also going to seal the main gate of the Pakhtunkhwa House.

He said that construction was done in Pakhtunkhwa House without getting the map approved and in this regard a show cause notice was sent to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government in July this year and it was told that if there is no response, action should be taken. will.’

According to Sardar Asif, due to no response from the Pakhtunkhwa government, Pakhtunkhwa House has been sealed.

On the other hand, leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and leader of the opposition in the National Assembly Umar Ayub Khan has said that ‘Pakhtunkhawa House has been sealed by CDA on the orders of Mohsin Naqvi and intelligence agencies.’

He wrote that it was “strongly condemned and proves that the present regime is bent on doing irreparable damage to the Federation.”
