Jamalinus said there had been no reports from victims. The cellphone evidence is still at the police station.
“But to this day, no one has come to the police station to make a report. We have the cell phone evidence, but so far no one has called. So we are still keeping the alleged perpetrator in the office. The evidence is only one cell phone. that’s all,” he explained.
He invited residents who felt they had lost their cellphones to report it. He said his staff were still investigating the suspected pickpocket.
“The confession must be very new, but we are still investigating the perpetrator’s statement. Even if it is their own confession, it is impossible for them to admit it. We are still investigating,” he said. (Fic/I-2)
