Statements, literally, ‘crossed’. A controversy between a soccer player from the Catholic University and a former kinesiologist from the same club arose following some unfortunate statements.
Who issued the controversial sayings was Emilia Pastriancurrent player of the team, all this, in the middle of the presentation of the alternative shirt that the cast of ‘La Franja’ will wear for the 2023 season.
When asked regarding the objectives of the women’s squad in the category tournament, Pastrián assured: “We also want to reach as high as possible, change once and for all to the old Catholic, which was like the cold-chested Catholic. Now, she is a very renewed Catholic”.
However, those sayings drew sparks, especially, in those who were part of the female team.
In such a scenario, the former kinesiologist at the Women’s Catholic University, María Francisca Silvadid not hesitate to answer the former Palestinian player.
“The cold chest, are you referring to the players who had to pay a monthly fee to play for Universidad Católica, who had to wear an XL men’s uniform, that we studied, we worked to be able to represent a club that was not interested in women’s football? GO TO BED !! ”, commented the former official of the San Carlos de Apoquindo club on her Instagram.
Finally, Francisca Silva finished her darts towards the new UC player saying that “You should be proud of your Catholic past, because everything you have is thanks to those cold chests who had to put up with all the shit to have everything you have.”.
