This Thursday (6), CPTM and Uber announced a partnership, signed to create virtual boarding and disembarking points at the company’s 57 stations. The intention is for passengers in São Paulo to have more safety and a better travel experience, while the surroundings of the stations will have a more organized flow.
At first, there was a pilot project carried out in early 2022. At the time, 14 CPTM stations joined. After the success among passengers, the agreement was expanded, and the service will now serve not only the capital of São Paulo, but also the metropolitan regions.
For passengers to take advantage of the novelty, they just need to request a trip directly through the Uber application. It needs to be done when you want to arrive or leave one of the CPTM stations. Next, the place for the users to board will be indicated on the platform itself.
The app can be downloaded or updated for Android or iOS systems through the respective official stores. The download is available through the links located on the card below the text.
