One of the Cowboys’ pending work is the CeeDee Lamb’s renewal. The receiver has had several months of negotiations with Dallas, without having a clear picture of what will happen. But the team owner, Jerry Jones, assured fans that they can rest easy.

Jones spoke to the media on Tuesday, where he assured that work continues with Lamb and that he is happy to renew it.

“Bueno, I think I am and when I say that, it doesn’t sound too promisingThe facts are that I think we will reach an agreement. I don’t want to speak for him. That’s what I’m trying not to do. But we wouldn’t have offered him what we offered him. if we didn’t want him to be here.”

Since negotiations beganthe Cowboys have tried to offer him one of the best contracts, and what Jones revealed indicates that work is still being done to reach an agreement on the economic side.

I don’t want to be insensitive to our fans or CeeDee, But we are in good shape and we are having promising conversations. One says: ‘Well, why do you keep talking? Why don’t you do something?’ Again, like anything, you need both to be there at the same time. That’s what we’re doing. But none of us, players or teams, “He doesn’t want this to affect his preparation or his ability to play at his best on opening day.”

The idea, according to various reports, is that the Cowboys offer Lamb to be the second highest paid receiver in the league, only behind Justin Jefferson of the Vikings, who gave him 35 million per season.

An agreement is expected to be reached before the start of the season, just as with Dak Prescott so the team has its best pieces in action.
