The traditional press briefing on the Covid-19 epidemic held yesterday by the prefect points to a health situation that is still clearly improving. The screening rate is 1,545.7 per 100,000 inhabitants and 5,106 tests were carried out in 15 days. The department is aware of 14 grouped case situations, including 5 in Ehpad and 3 in medico-social establishments. The downward trend is also confirmed in terms of National Education despite a slight increase last week due to the start of the school year. 39 people contracted Covid: 35 students and 4 adults in 13 primary schools, 19 colleges and 3 high schools.
During this weekly press briefing, the situation of displaced persons from Ukraine was discussed. 41 Ukrainians hosted in Fumel are being accommodated in the Agen conurbation and administrative support to obtain aid.
