After this Friday’s consultation committee, the Minister of Health Frank Vandenbroucke spoke regarding the future of Covid Safe Ticket (CST). According to him, there are two possibilities for the next month.

Frank Vandenbroucke explained this choice. “We believe in a consistent and coherent instrument“, he advanced. “The vaccination must be reinforced by the booster. And today we can go to code orange, it’s because people made the booster“.
The end of CST in March with the yellow code?
At the end of the press conference, the Minister of Health was questioned by our journalist on the possibility of switching to code yellow in March and the use of CST. “If the situation in hospitals allows it, we will switch to code yellow“, he indicated. “I hope as soon as possible possible but not if the numbers do not allow it.“A code yellow would remove the Covid Safe Ticket. “It’s agreed by the discipline of the barometer,” continued the minister. “At code orange, the CST is applicable. It will no longer be used in code yellow.“
In short, according to the statements of Frank Vandenbroucke, the CST will remain in force in March if the orange code is maintained. On the other hand, it will be suspended if the health situation makes it possible to switch to code yellow.
