Venezuela reached 485,974 cases of coronavirus this Monday, following the government announced that during the last 24 hours the country registered 1,953 new infections, 1,952 due to community transmission and 1 imported.
According to the balance offered in Twitter According to the Minister of Communication, Freddy Ñáñez, the community cases are located in the following states: Miranda 541; Caracas 351; Laura 313; Mérida 227; Yaracuy 148, among others.
Miranda presents the highest number of infections in 19 of its 21 municipalities: Sucre 134; The Salias 60; Guaicaipuro 59; Zamora 55; Baruta 45, among others.

Ñáñez indicated that the only imported case is 1 woman from Panama, with entry through La Guaira.
With the new data, the country reaches 485,974 confirmed cases, 16,879 active cases and 463,648 people recovered, which represents 95% of infections.
The minister said that to date there are 12,159 patients who are asymptomatic, 3,941 with mild acute respiratory failure, 521 with moderate acute respiratory failure and 258 in the Intensive Care Unit.
