Kerala Covid Cases 20 March 2022: 908 people who were diagnosed and treated have recovered

Kerala Covid Cases 20 March 2022: Thiruvananthapuram: Kovid-19 confirmed for 596 persons in Kerala Ernakulam 122, Thiruvananthapuram 75, Kozhikode 55, Kottayam 51, Idukki 48, Thrissur 41, Kollam 39, Alappuzha 32, Kannur 32, Pathanamthitta 29, Palakkad 25, Malappuram 23, Wayanad 19 and Kasaragod 5 districts were affected.

During the last 24 hours, 18,590 samples were tested.

There are currently 18,746 people under surveillance in various districts of the state. Of these, 18,073 are under home / institutional quarantine and 673 are under hospital surveillance. A total of 73 people were newly admitted to the hospital.

Currently, out of 5812 Kovid cases, only 11.2 per cent are admitted to hospitals / field hospitals.

No deaths have been confirmed in the last 24 hours due to Kovid-19. Four deaths were reported in the previous days but 20 deaths due to late receipt of documents and 20 deaths due to appeal by the Central Government under the new guidelines of the Supreme Court. This brings the total death toll in the state to 67,339.

Today, none of the confirmed cases are from outside the state. 568 people were infected through contact. Contact source for 25 is not clear. Three health workers were affected by the disease.

908 people who were diagnosed and treated were cured. Thiruvananthapuram 116, Kollam 30, Pathanamthitta 63, Alappuzha 14, Kottayam 206, Idukki 84, Ernakulam 192, Thrissur 53, Palakkad 20, Malappuram 23, Kozhikode 52, Wayanad 35, Kannur 14 and Kasaragod 6 were cured. With this, 5812 people have been diagnosed with the disease and are still undergoing treatment. 64,53,172 have so far been freed from Kovid.

Kovid 19 Analysis Report

One dose of vaccine (2,69,27,512) was given to 100% of the population to be vaccinated and two dose vaccines (2,32,68,483) to 87%.
ശതമാനം 79% (12,05,577) of children aged 15 to 17 years were given the first dose and 46% (6,99,108) were given the second dose of vaccine.

Kerala has the highest number of vaccinations / million in India (14,88,032)

During the period from March 13 to 19, out of an average of 7448 cases treated, only 2.2 per cent required oxygen beds and only 2.1 per cent required ICU.
