In the Pyrénées-Orientales, this Monday, there were 218 people hospitalized (-1 in 24 hours) including 67 in conventional hospitalization (-4) and 18 in intensive care (like the day before). 604 people have died in the department since the start of the epidemic, including 3 more this Monday evening.
In France on Monday, there were 28,383 people hospitalized (-260 compared to the day before) including 16,079 in conventional hospitalization (-180) and 2,905 in intensive care (-18). Since March 2020, 108,954 people have died in French hospitals, including 283 in one day.
Regarding the incidence rates, they are still falling with 884 positive cases per 100,000 inhabitants on average in France. Lozère and Pyrénées-Orientales are the only departments in Occitanie below the threshold of 1,000 positive cases (871). In Aude, it remains higher than the national average: 1,210 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
