Morocco has recorded 101 new cases carrying the Covid-19 virus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases recorded nationally since the start of the epidemic to 1,268,396.
Currently, the total active cases rise to 1,238, of which 6 cases are in serious condition. As for the geographical distribution of new cases recorded in Morocco in the past 24 hours, it is the region of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra which comes first among the most affected regions with 67 cases (17 in Skhirate-Témara, 17 in Salé, 14 in Rabat, 8 in Kenitra, 5 in Sidi Kacem, 3 in Sidi Slimane, 3 in Khemisset).
In second position, the Casablanca-Settat region which recorded 14 cases (10 in Casablanca, 2 in Nouaceur, 2 in El Jadida), followed by the Marrakech-Safi region which recorded 8 cases all in the city of Marrakech, then the Souss-Massa region with 6 cases all in the city of Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane.
The Fez-Meknes region recorded 4 new cases (3 in Meknes, 1 in Taza), followed by the Oriental region with 1 case in Oujda-Angad and finally the Guelmim-Oued Noun region with 1 case in Assa-Zag.
