COVID-19: Ministry of Health issues epidemiological alert due to increase in cases

The Ministry of Health issued an epidemiological alert due to the “sustained increase” in cases of COVID-19. Through a statement, they specified that at the national level there is a sustained increase in confirmed cases of the COVID-19 from 1813 to 11,177 in the last epidemiological weeks focused on Metropolitan Lima. Similarly, from epidemiological week 19 the increase was registered in the regions of Ancash, Arequipa, Callao, Cusco, Junín and La Libertad and from week 21 in the regions of Ica, Lambayeque, Lima, Moquegua, Pasco, Piura and Tacna.

EsSalud warns of an increase in the positivity rate
