Pending the supply by city professionals scheduled for the end of March, in Brittany, four vaccination centers, one per department, offer the Novavax vaccine. It is, in the Cotes-d’Armor, the Ploufragan vaccination center (Sciences and trades area, 6 rue Camille-Guérin); in Finistère, the Brest vaccination center (Iroise shopping center, 126, boulevard de Plymouth); in Ille-et-Vilaine; the Bruz vaccination center (Rennes Saint-Jacques exhibition center, entrance door B / La Haie Gautrais); in Morbihan, the Vannes Kercado vaccination center (28, rue Winston-Churchill).

Preferred RNA vaccines

The Novavax vaccine constitutes a new offer in the vaccination campaign because it uses the so-called “recombinant protein” technique. It can therefore be used by people with messenger RNA contraindications or who are reluctant to messenger RNA vaccines. In all other situations, messenger RNA vaccines should be preferred.

More generally, the Novavax vaccine is intended for people aged 18 and over who have not yet started their vaccination schedule. It involves the administration of two doses 21 days apart.
