The Serbian president blasted Australia on Wednesday 5 January for the “ill-treatment” inflicted on Novak Djokovic, the world number one in tennis. President Aleksandar Vucic said on Instagram that he spoke to the player by phone and told him that “all of Serbia” was with him and that “our authorities are taking all measures to ensure that the ill-treatment inflicted at the best tennis player of the world come to an end as quickly as possible ”. “In accordance with all the norms of international public law, Serbia will fight for Novak Djokovic, justice and truth,” he added.
