Courtroom Catastrophe: Husband’s Unconventional Entrance Sets Trial Ablaze

After the divorce petition was rejected by the court, the husband took his wife on his shoulder and ran out of the court room, after which his difficulty increased.

According to a Chinese website, the incident took place in a court in China’s southwestern province of Sichuan when a woman named Chen and her husband Li Jin, who have been married for 20 years, accused the husband of domestic violence on behalf of the wife. A petition for divorce was submitted to the court.

According to the report, Chen recently claimed that their relationship had completely broken down, citing domestic violence as the reason. Chen said that her husband tortures her when he is drunk.

However, the court did not grant the divorce because they claimed that the couple still had a “deep emotional bond”, suggesting to the couple that reconciliation was still possible. Chen’s husband Lee was not in favor of divorcing his wife.

But the woman, dissatisfied with the decision, appealed the case again and a few days later the case was heard again. Lee became emotionally unstable during the second trial, and suddenly threw his wife over his shoulder and wanted to run out of the courtroom. Chen started screaming in fear.

Court security guards stopped Lee from escaping and reprimanded him. Later on September 12, Lee wrote an apology in which he admitted his actions and promised not to repeat such behavior again.

Lee said that I have now realized my mistake. I guarantee that I will never repeat this mistake again. Ultimately, the couple did not divorce each other under court mediation. The Chinese wife gave her husband another chance to fulfill his marital duty.
