Created by Hideo Kojima, who would go on to become one of the biggest names in the video game industry, the Metal Gear franchise launched a new genre that would become prominent and inspire several titles: Stealth. Since then, the saga has won several extremely successful titles and has become one of the most important game series around the world.
However, things are not as good as expected for fans of the Konami franchise, as players have been waiting for news of a new title for some time and it never comes true. But, will it go now? Gamers are getting hopeful for an announcement during Sony’s new State of Play event taking place this Thursday, March 23rd.
