Cote d’Ivoire beat Zambia in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers

Côte d’Ivoire defeated Zambia 3-1 in the match that brought them together on Friday evening at the “Yamoussoukro” stadium, as part of the first round of Group H, of the African Nations Qualifiers for the 2023 African Nations Cup in Cote d’Ivoire.

Cote d’Ivoire scored a hat-trick once morest Zambia: Sergi Aurier, Christian Kwame and Ibrahim Sinjari in the 67th, 76th and 89th minutes of the match.

Batson Dhaka scored Zambia’s only goal in the fourth minute of time instead of wasted for the match.

In the same group, Comoros defeated Lesotho, 2-0.

Côte d’Ivoire topped Group H in the 2023 African Nations Qualifiers, with a goal difference from Comoros following they were equal with 3 points, while Zambia and Lesotho remained without points.

In another match, Burkina Faso defeated its guest, Cape Verde, by a clean double in the second group competition.
