Côte d’Ivoire -AIP/ The health district of Doropo reflects on new perspectives for improving services

Doropo, Jan 18, 2023 (AIP) – The health district of Doropo worked on the performances achieved to reflect on new perspectives with a view to improving services, during a workshop, in the presence of the departmental director of health of Doropo, Dr. N’Guessan Kouamé Jean Yves.

Chaired by the sub-prefect of Doropo, Silué Douyéri, representing the Prefect of the department of Doropo, this meeting, organized from Monday January 16 to Tuesday January 17, 2023, made it possible to take stock of the activities carried out during the year 2022. in the health district.

“The results of this workshop should serve as a compass,” said Dr. N’Guessan, at this annual coordination meeting with his constituents, in the meeting room of the prefecture.

According to him, the priorities of the Ministry of Health, Public Hygiene and Universal Health Coverage (CMU) remain the intensification of the fight once morest COVID-19, access to the CMU card and the fight once morest vaccine-preventable diseases including measles, tuberculosis, rubella.

Dr. N’Guessan Kouamé, on behalf of the Regional Director of Health in charge of Bounkani, congratulated and encouraged all health workers for the activities carried out as well as the 2022 indicators achieved.

The directors of health centers, nurses, community health workers and midwives presented the annual report of their activities, in particular, on the management of the system, the indicators for 2022 and the point of achievement of the vaccination strategies for January to December 2022.

The three best community health workers (CHWs) in the Doropo health district from the health centers of Niamoué, Danoa and Doropo received prizes from the line ministry. The two best presentations were also rewarded. Beneficiaries received diplomas, T-shirts, caps, tablets and financial support.
