Costco comes to Torreón with a store and fuel dispatcher format

The Costco company comes to Torreón with the complete price club store format and a fuel dispenser, according to the investment that has already been confirmed for this region following a series of negotiations.

The Undersecretary of Economic Development of the State in La Laguna, Ricardo Schumm, said that the establishment will be located in the north of the city, where the greatest growth and detonation of economic activity is registered.

He said that following the efforts of the governor, Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís, and the Secretary of the Economy, Claudio Bres, with the investors, the arrival of the company is a fact, which represents 50 percent of the world sales of the chain of stores self-service Walmart and half in the United States.

Recently, the Torreón City Council approved modifications to the Regulations for the Establishment of Gas Stations and LP Gas Sales Stations, which include certain requirements for the location of fuel dispensers next to shopping centers.
