The Electoral Observation Mission of the Organization of American States highlighted the order and organization with which the second presidential round in Costa Rica takes place this Sunday.
“We have seen that everything is going in an organized manner, we have no reports of any anomaly,” said the head of the OAS electoral mission, the former vice president and former foreign minister of Panama Isabel de Saint Malo, during a visit to a voting center in San Joseph.
De Saint Malo stressed that in the voting centers he has observed voters of all ages and called on the population to take advantage of the last hours of the day to exercise the right to vote.
“We want to send a message to Costa Ricans that there is still time to go out and vote. Go out, go to the voting centers, it is fluid, there are no long lines. Contribute to democracy in your country,” said the former Panamanian vice president.
