Since 2010, the festival organized by the musician André Manoukian offers hikes and day concerts at altitude as well as evenings in the city center with free access. Until July 29, the 13th edition of CosmoJazz welcomes, among others, Dhafer Youssef, Guillaume Perret and Gabi Hartmann.

After Yann Cléry, the Jedi of electropicals, flautist, singer and dancer from Guyana who notably kicked off this 13th edition on Saturday, artists such as singer and oud master Dhafer Youssef, Franco-Greek singer Dafné Kritharas or Frenchwoman Gabi Hartmann who navigates between jazz and bossa nova will once again follow one another in the heart of the breathtaking panoramas of the Mont-Blanc massif. The master of the place, André Manoukian, offering a pianistic and verbal jousting with his accomplice Jean-François Zygel by revisiting the history of music.

From the heights to the city center
In addition to these daytime pleasures, there are evenings in places in the center of Chamonix, including Parc Couttet and the Maison des artistes, which will notably see the jazzman Guillaume Perret in a saxophone and drums duo, the group Kolinga between jazz and Congolese rhythms or the formation Yemen Blues offering a repertoire at the crossroads of blues, funk and rock.
