During the visit to Medellin, the ICT Minister, Mauricio Lizcano, and the manager of Teleantioquia, Margarita Arango, announced the production of the series ‘Cosiaca’: “For Teleantioquia it is an honor to make this production. We thank the Minister, who believed in this project from the beginning and today it is a reality.

Colombians will see on their screens one of the most iconic characters of Antioquia, whose famous stories have always been in the memory of the people of Antioquia,” said the manager of Teleantioquia.

Cosiaca, with its adventures and humor, will be present in the homes of the country in 2025, as part of the 40th anniversary of Teleantioquia. Therefore, the best way to celebrate it is with a high-level production, which will be written by César Augusto Betancur, the well-known “Pucheros”, and produced by Luis Alberto Restrepo, known
as “Peto”. Its cast will include famous actors from the country, such as Santiago Alarcón, Robinson Díaz, María Cecilia Botero and the famous Vargas Vil, among others.

The series will begin filming this year, with an investment of $3 billion, resources that will be provided by the ICT Ministry, as a commitment to the continued strengthening of national public television: “Investing in this type of production gives us great joy, because they are stories worth remembering.

I am sure that this series will be an example to follow, advancing in the strengthening of public television, with winning content for the whole family,” added Lizcano.
