Publisher Microids and Belgian studio Fishing Cactus have unveiled Corsairs — Battle of the Caribbean strategy about pirates of the Caribbean. The title page appeared on Steam.
The main location of Corsairs – Battle of the Caribbean will be the waters around the Antilles. Gamers will take on the role of a pirate from France, Denmark, Spain, Britain or Holland and compete for the supremacy of this nation in the Caribbean. Traditional strategic options will be available – building, trading, treasure hunting, hiring pirate employees, and so on.
Players will have access to both a single player campaign and a multiplayer game for four. The release will take place in 2024 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox consoles, as well as Nintendo Switch. It is not known whether the title will be translated into Russian – support has not yet been announced.
