Corsair unveils a gaming screen … that folds

The future of screens means flexibility. Corsair therefore unveils its very first gaming screen that bends to your desires.

The world of gaming is not just regarding video games themselves, but everything around it, accessories and hardware. This is why at the Gamescom, it is not impossible to come across the presentation of technological jewels between two video game stands. This year, Corsair is causing a stir with a brand new gaming screen that has the particularity of being flexible.

Called XENEON FLEX OLED, it is – as its name suggests – a 45-inch OLED screen that offers increased gameplay possibilities thanks to the simple fact that it can be twisted in the blink of an eye. To do this, the device has two handles on the back of the screen, which you can modulate to achieve a curve of 800R.

In terms of features, there is a latest generation W-OLED panel in a 21:9 format. All for a definition of 3440 x 1440 and a refresh rate of up to 240 Hz. Technical characteristics that have nothing to envy to the best monitors on the market, with an added advantage of size, that of versatility. Thanks to the curvature, you can immerse yourself more immersively in your racing, simulation or shooting games.

A grip on the ground

Those currently present at the Gamescom 2022 are already very lucky to be able to enjoy it live on the Corsair stand. The brand, in its press release, said: “We challenged ourselves to create a breakthrough display that provides an amazing, customizable experience, and I think we’ve achieved that goal, and even exceeded it..”

For the rest of the gamers who didn’t have the chance to travel to Cologne this year for the return of the video game show, the XENEON FLEX OLED screen will give more info on its release date in the coming weeks.
