“IN THE CENTRE”: All-round battle for party leadership – who takes over the SPÖ?
On March 26 at 10:10 p.m. on ORF 2

At the beginning of next week, the decision will be made as to who may run for the SPÖ presidency. Nominations were possible until Friday midnight. What is certain is that the duel between party leader Pamela Rendi-Wagner and Burgenland’s governor Hans Peter Doskozil will become a multi-fight. Among other things, Traiskirchner Mayor Andreas Babler announced his candidacy for party chairmanship. Is the SPÖ experiencing a democratic process, where in the end will there be an SPÖ leader recognized by all sides? Or will the rifts deepen with each additional candidate and prevent an agreement between the parties?

Discuss this on Sunday, March 26, at 10:10 p.m. on ORF 2 with Tarek Leitner “IM ZENTRUM”:

Verena Dunst

President of the Burgenland Landtag, SPÖ

Paul Stich

Chairman of the Socialist Youth Austria

Gerhard Weissensteiner

Candidate for the SPÖ presidency

Kathrin Stainer-Hämmerle

Florian Klenk
