Correction: Federal Chancellor Nehammer announced today at 7:55 p.m. on PULS 24 “complete package” on the subject of housing costs. time still open

Vienna (OTS) “When it comes to the topic of housing, we have always advocated not just concentrating on one segment of living, namely the so-called reference rent apartments,” explains Chancellor Karl Nehammer (ÖVP) in an interview with the editor-in-chief Stephen Kaltenbrunner today at 7:55 p.m. in the PULS 24 Newsroom. According to Nehammer, these only affect “a small part of the people who live in Austria”.

The Chancellor emphasizes that house builders and people who live in cooperative apartments would also suffer from inflation. “It’s regarding putting together an overall package and we’re negotiating that,” stressed the Chancellor.

The negotiations are currently “very intense”. There is not yet an exact point in time for an agreement on this “overall package”.
