Number of infected people in hospital: 123 (-7 compared to yesterday, Tuesday) of which 27 (+1 compared to yesterday, Tuesday) in intensive care.

The numbers of infected people in inpatient treatment are distributed throughout Tyrol as follows:

  • Innsbruck: 32 normal wards, 15 intensive care wards
  • Hall: 4 normal ward, 4 intensive care ward
  • Hochzirl: 2 normal wards, 0 intensive care wards
  • Kufstein: 11 normal wards, 1 intensive care wards
  • Lienz: 11 normal wards, 2 intensive care wards
  • Natters: 1 normal ward, 0 intensive care ward

It is reported that, according to the current state of knowledge, there are 570 other positive Covid test results, including late reports, in Tyrol that can be attributed to the new virus mutation B.1.1.529 (Omicron). The people concerned are in quarantine. A total of 9,835 cases of omicron have been recorded in Tyrol since the omicron variant appeared. Of these, 4,506 are currently still considered active positive
