Coronation of British King: Sonam Kapoor will perform

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor will perform at the coronation concert of King Charles III of Great Britain.

The 37-year-old actress will be part of a group of international stars such as American singers Katy Perry and Lionel Richie performing at the special event.

Sonam Kapoor British singer Steve Winwood and singers from the Commonwealth will perform before the start of a special virtual concert.

In a statement, Sonam Kapoor said: ‘It is an honor to be part of the special Commonwealth virtual group singing for this event.

‘This is an important occasion which United Kingdom indicates a commitment to a positive, inclusive and optimistic future. The singers’ music is meant to pay tribute to the royal heritage. This will promote unity, peace and happiness.’

This concert will be broadcast by the British broadcasting organization BBC. The concert will feature British pop band Take That, Italian singer Andrea Bocelli, Welsh singer Brian Terful, British singer Freya Ridings and classical musician Alexis French.

The Coronation choir includes major bands and amateur singers from across the UK. For example, a refugee band, a National Health Services (NHS) band, gay and transgender singers and groups of singers from the hearing impaired will also perform.

The official coronation of King Charles III will take place on Sunday (May 6). Two thousand guests will attend the ceremony at Westminster Abbey Royal Family It includes leading figures, celebrities, actors and politicians. The ceremony will be officiated by the Archbishop of Canterbury.

Buckingham Palace said in a statement that the coronation of the British monarch would ‘reflect the current role of the monarch, grounded in long traditions and grandeur, and offer a glimpse into the future.’

Kings would not forgo the most sacred part of the ceremony, the anointing of the king’s body. The tradition is so sacred that Queen Elizabeth’s performance of the ritual was kept from public view, and it has been revealed that Charles will do the same.
