In her Instagram post on Monday, Cornelia Hütter continued: “Now it’s time to wait for the results of the last checks.” In addition, she posted a picture of herself on a hospital bed with severe scratches on her nose.
The Austrian association announced on Tuesday that the 29-year-old had been diagnosed with a mild concussion and whiplash. She also contracted a slight injury to her right collateral ligament. However, Hütter might leave the clinic on Tuesday.
Due to the injuries, Hütter has to take a break for the time being. At the penultimate Super-G of the season in Lenzerheide, the woman from Graz will not be at the start.

Hütter also expressed himself in the message. “After the fall I was a bit upset and was only able to remember all the details a little later. But now I’m doing quite well once more and I only have a slight headache,” said the three-time World Cup winner, who finished third in the first downhill run in Crans Montana on Saturday.
Hütter hopes to take part in the season finale
She would have liked to have been there in Lenzerheide, Hütter explained, but concussions should not be joked regarding.
“It is now important to give my body the break it needs to get 100 percent fit and hopefully be back at the start in the final,” she continued.
“You can’t bring that!” Departure continues despite the crash
The World Cup finals will take place in Courchevel/Méribel (France) from March 14th to 20th. A downhill, a super-G, a giant slalom, a slalom and a team event will be held there.
