Corero Network Expands Latin America Presence with New Partnerships

(Alliance News) – Corero Network Security PLC announced Friday a new contract win and the signing of three strategic channel partnership agreements in Chile.

The London-based cybersecurity firm, which specializes in distributed denial of service protection, said its channel partnership agreements with GreyMatter, Vista Group International Ltd and NovaRed SL mark a “significant milestone” in strengthening and expanding its presence in the Latin American market.

GreyMatter is a Chilean technology company specializing in digital transformation and software development.

“In collaboration with GreyMatter, Corero immediately gained a new customer, securing a deal with leading Chilean telecommunications service provider Netline [Holdings Inc]which selected Corero’s SmartWall ONETM software solution to improve DDoS protection and resilience in a rapidly evolving technology landscape,” said Corero.

The partnership with film industry software solutions company VGL will extend Corero’s reach into the media and entertainment sector, while the deal with NovaRed will help Corero benefit from its “strong presence” in several Latin American countries.

CEO Carl Herberger said, “These new partnerships, in addition to our existing alliance with TechEnabler in Brazil, underscore our commitment to aggressively expand our presence in Latin America, as well as provide world-class DDoS protection and secure connectivity solutions across the region.”

Corero shares were up 1.6% at 19.45 pence each in London on Friday afternoon.
