Córdoba Creative Collective Celebrates 10-Year Milestone

A decade ago, a daring vision took root in Córdoba, Argentina. Three creatives—filmmakers Octavio Revol Molina and Gastón Revol Molina, and visual artist Hora French— banded together to form an independent production company unlike any other.

Cabustra Arts, a company committed to merging film, art, literature, and animation, quickly became a recognized force, producing critically acclaimed short and feature films that captivated audiences globally.

company in Córdoba, 10 years is very important. People are following us and asking us to make more films, asking us to release horror films and other genres, and that makes us proud,” Octavio Revol Molina shared.

“There are filmmakers who ask us to collaborate and want to co-produce. It’s a huge source of pride for us to continue making films, but also for the province. “It fills our souls,” he added.

With four feature films under its belt—Animal Behavior, Grimorio, Ukumar, and Fishing Club—Cabustra Arts has solidified its reputation. The company’s scope extends beyond the realm of film to encompass the entirely unique world of Hora French’s visual art samples and graphic proposals.

A Decade of Creativity: Celebrating Cabustra Arts

Cabustra Arts is kicking off its 10th anniversary with a series of exciting events. Following the digital premiere of its first comic book on May 12th at Córdoba’s Cultural Center, the celebrations are in full swing.

The festivities will also feature screenings of Cabustra’s past films, including the national premiere of its latest masterpiece, “Fishing Club”, directed by Gastón Revol Molina. A “Before Premiere” event for “Fishing Club” offers an appreciative audience a chance to experience the film before its official release.

The celebrations are set to attract both film enthusiasts and creative pioneers alike.

Two major events promise to be high points: a tribute to and dialogue with acclaimed director and Oscar winner Eugenio Zanetti, and a talk on “Special FX” by Argentina’s beloved special effects artist Marcos Berta.

Zanetti, the world-renowned filmmaker andpodar only Cordoba Oscar winner to date, will reflect on his illustrious career during his tribute talk. He is sure to offer some insights into his upcoming projects.

* **Thursday, May 12th:** Digital premiere of Cabustra Arts’ first comic book, “Pampa Circle” created by Octavio Revol Molina and Hora French, at Cordoba’s Cultural Center.

* **Thursday, December 12th:** Marcos Berta, one of Argentina’s best known special effects artists, will host “Special FX” at 7:00 pm at Cordoba’s Cultural Center. Berta, renowned for his thrilling monsters and optical illusions, will be discussing his technique.

* **Wednesday, December 18th:** The awaited national premiere of “Fishing Club”, directed by Gastón Revol Molina, marking the fourth feature film produced by Cabustra Arts. SCREENING IN Cordoba.
