In the middle of the extreme heat wave over Córdobathe National Meteorological Service issued a very short-term warning -for two hours- for the Calamuchita department.
“Strong storms with gusts and occasional hail,” said the SMN press release. The alert was issued at 1:55 p.m. and was valid for 2 hours.

According to the SMN, almost the entire province is under yellow and orange alert due to extreme temperatures.

In this sense, the agency explained that the temperatures for the areas framed in the yellow alert “can be dangerous, especially for risk groups, such as boys and girls, people over 65 years of age, with chronic diseases.”
