Córdoba: how is the retiree who killed a criminal and what is his judicial situation

While the 78-year-old retiree who killed a criminal this Thursday in the middle of an assault in the south of Córdoba Capital is hospitalized as a result of a nervous breakdown, the Justice reported that it is investigating the case and defining the steps to follow.

The episode occurred in the last few hours in the Residencial Vélez Sársfield neighborhood, when the assailants approached a woman who was arriving in a Jeep Renegade at a friend’s house to deliver some plants to her.

The women were approached and asked for help. At that moment, the armed neighbor went out into the street and fired at least two shots.

The criminals fled, collided in the Ferrer neighborhood and then one of them took the other to the Misericordia hospital and fled.

The offender who entered the care center had a gunshot wound and died.

What does Justice say?

The case is being investigated by the district attorney’s office II turn 3 of the city of Córdoba.

This Friday it was reported that the case is being followed by the death of “an alleged criminal and the alleged qualified robberies and qualified attempted robbery of two vehicles.”

They added that they are trying to establish the circumstances in which the death occurred.

“The retiree is hospitalized as a result of an emotional crisis,” they specified and indicated that so far he has not been detained nor has he been charged for the act.

Finally, it was indicated that the prosecutor’s office “waits for the results of the autopsy on the body of the deceased and other expertise to adopt the measures.”
