Córdoba businessmen interested in opportunities that Paraguay offers for investments

Asunción, IP Agency.- Within the framework of Córdoba Day in Asunción, authorities from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC) made a country presentation to a delegation of Córdoba businessmen, with the aim of showing the incentives that Paraguay has for the landing of its investments.

Businessmen were interested, while emphasizing the opportunities that the country offers for the development and strengthening of industries, the MIC reported.

A total of 40 businessmen and entrepreneurs from Córdoba were part of the presentation carried out by the Rediex authorities, where they showed them the different economic incentives that the country has; such as Maquila and Law 60/90.

Martín Llaryora, governor of Córdoba, who leads the mission, expressed his admiration for the country for its growth and development recorded in recent decades, positioning itself as one of the most economically strengthened countries within the South American region.

“Paraguay has been a land of opportunities. Furthermore, South America has become a country with many attractions to grow, with a very talented working people and the possibilities of Paraguay are unlimited.”

Likewise, he pointed out the importance of strengthening relations between Córdoba and Paraguay, emphasizing the differences in their political systems and the need for collaboration between both.

Also, he highlighted the advantages of the Paraguayan tax regime, which facilitates investment and the establishment of industries, highlighting opportunities in the metalworking and logistics industries.

For his part, Rodrigo Maluff, vice minister of Rediex, indicated that Paraguay is a country open and receptive to foreign investment, underlining the importance of its friendly people and the recent achievement of the investment grade that can boost the national economy.

In that order, he valued the economic stability it has and the government’s willingness to offer incentives for companies, especially in sectors such as the auto parts industry and the circular economy.
