Cora Reutemann, daughter of the former governor of Santa Fe Carlos Reutemanannounced today that she will not compete as a candidate in the 2023 elections nor will she be part of the campaign for space led by the man from Río Negro Miguel Angel Pichetto, following acknowledging that she witnessed “unpleasant situations” that drove her away.
The eldest daughter of the deceased politician and renowned former car racer decided to step aside from the Federal Republican Meeting space “following witnessing unpleasant situations.”
“A few months ago I was excited to follow in my father’s footsteps to defend the interests of my province,” she started on Twitter, and continued: “I prefer to retire and let my last name shine for everything my father did, I would not want him to use and overshadow it, “he justified.
The allusion to “unpleasant situations” brings a direct reminiscence of the “resignation” of Reutemann to be the presidential candidate of eduardo duhalde for the 2003 elections, since it finally remained for Nestor Kirchner.
