Coparmex asks the Court to protect judicial independence

The Employers’ Confederation of the Mexican Republic (Coparmex) and the Mexican Bar, Bar Association, Jalisco Chapterreaffirmed their commitment to defending the rule of law and protecting the Constitution by filing an appeal Friend of the Court before the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation.

At a press conference, José Medina Mora Icaza, national president of Coparmexstressed the importance of the moment that Mexico is going through and the commitment that this demands from society.

“We are at that crucial point for our country, which requires us to take positions and convert these conditions into forceful actions,” he stated.
